A stylish flattop instrument, made as a copy of a contemporary American guitar for the British market most likely in Schönbach. It bears some resemblance to certain variations of the Gibson Nick Lucas model from the 1930s. The wider history of the G50 designation is unclear: there is at least one other (differently looking and built) guitar with the Martin Coletti brand that uses the same model number, which was advertised as a higher-end alternative to the "workhorse" G40 model.
